Dimora del Poeta

Within the oldest part of the historical centre of San Quirico d'Orcia, near the main square and the most important monuments of the town, we find "La Dimora del Poeta". It looks onto the main street, the old route of the Via Francigena, it is a few steps FROM the XIV century old "Grancia" (fortified castle) of Santa Maria della Scala and the Romanesque church of Santa Maria ad Hortos. It is a typical Tuscan house with tile floors and original wooden beams, it it furnished in a good and distintive taste. There are four rooms and a shared room used for kitchen-living room. At the first floor there are the "Margherita" and the "Girasole" room. At the second floor, with the "Papavero" room, there is te shared room with the necessary for the breakfast and the cooking. At the third floor is collocated our fourth room: "Il Glicine".
