Podere Lamberto

Description: Podere Lamberto is a holiday farm that draws inspiration FROM the country hotels : few rooms, homely welcome and great attention to details. The owners live in the country house, while the guest-quarters (a former barn) are divided INTO 4 indipendent flats, that meet every kind of requirement, FROM the single room to the 4/6 persons flat. There is a homely atmosphere and each flat (Le Pannocchie-The Cobs, Il Girasole-The Sunflower, La Ginestra-The Broom, Il Querciolo-The Oaklet) is different FROM the other ones : the shades of the colours of the walls change FROM the water-green to the blue, the apricot-yellow, the peach-pink, like the flowers that flourish in the orchard and the surrounding meadows. The furniture is made up of antiques, wrought iron beds and ancient carpets.
On the gound floor, near the cellar that keeps some precious oak wine butts, there is a wide dining-room with a fireplace, a big TABLE and comfortable armchairs for pleasant conversations.
People can also taste typical tuscan dishes which are prepared with the products of the farm : vegetables, fruits, wine, olive, honey, sheep's milk cheese and hand-made pasta.

Hospitality: Every morning a plentiful and varied breakfast is served in the common dining-room.Each flat or room, however, has a boiler to prepare hot drinks.
You can have lunch or dinner after booking. Menus ranges FROM the basic dishes of the tuscan family cooking to refined dishes and particular tasting enriched by the best wines.
